Man rescued from car flipped on rec center steps

WASHINGTON — A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after driving onto the steps of a rec center in Northeast D.C.

D.C. Fire rescued the man from the car in the 3200 block of Fort Lincoln Drive NE, which had flipped on its side and was stuck against the bars on the side of the steps. It’s unclear how the car ended up there. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
