Baltimore County detectives made a significant haul in the ongoing battle against illegal firearms, with the recent recovery of two particularly concerning weapons: a “ghost gun” and a stolen firearm modified to shoot fully automatically. The incident occurred on Wednesday after officers responded to a shots fired call on Wycombe Way and Glenbarr Court in the Towson Precinct. Their investigation led to the detention of five individuals and the uncovering of the weapons above.
The confiscated ghost gun found loaded with 19 rounds in an extended magazine has no serial number—which makes it a frightening tool for crime, as it’s nearly impossible to trace. The second weapon reported stolen was equipped with a so-called “Glock switch,” a device that terrifyingly converts a semi-automatic firearm into a weapon capable of fully automatic fire, according to the information provided by the Baltimore County Police Department.
Among those arrested, Kordell Clark and Louis Nolan, both 19 years of age, remain held without bail on multiple firearms charges. These charges include possession of a firearm without a serial number and possession of a firearm by a minor are among the serious charges they face.
