ARLINGTON, Texas While the winning ticket in Friday’s $1.22 billion Mega Millions drawing was sold in California, there was another big prize-winner in Texas.

Mega Millions 12/27/24 winning numbers

The winning numbers for December 27 are: white balls 3, 7, 37, 49 and 55, plus the gold Mega Ball 6.

According to Mega Millions, a single ticket sold in Cottonwood, California matched all six numbers drawn to win the estimated $1.22 billion prize.

In addition to the jackpot winner, there were more than 5.6 million winning tickets across all prize tiers Friday night. Five tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s second-tier prize; two were sold in California, and one each in Arizona, Missouri and Texas.
