Library Director Talks Policy, New Branch Plans

Burbank Public Library Director Eric Lashley took the helm this month, filling the position after a nearly six-month search following the resignation of Elizabeth Goldman, its previous director.

Wrapping up his third week on the job, Lashley said he’s been meeting with staff, leadership and other stakeholders. In an interview with the Leader, he clarified recent security and rules updates aimed at increasing safety for library patrons and staff.
