Gov. Lamont to deliver State of the State address as lawmakers return to Hartford

Things are about to get busy in Hartford. On Wednesday, Gov. Ned Lamont delivers his State of the State speech as Connecticut lawmakers return for the 2025 legislative session. Expect big fights over how to spend – and how much to spend – your tax dollars.
