Snowfall could arrive in Georgia as early as Friday morning, with the heaviest accumulations expected in the mountains, but a possibility of an inch of snow north of Macon.
What’s Happening: Forecasters are increasingly confident that winter weather will move into the area between Friday morning and Saturday. Current models indicate the greatest chance for at least one inch of snow in the mountain areas of north Georgia.
