WASHINGTON (7News) — The man who threatened to stab two Safeway employees inside the Dupont Circle neighborhood store was arrested, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
At 9:00 p.m. on January 1, the man entered the grocery store on the 700 block of Corcoran Street, Northwest. He had previously been banned from this establishment for making threats against the employees.
A worker and a security guard approached the man to escort him out when he pulled out a knife and attempted to stab both employees, surveillance footage from the store shows. Afterward, he fled the scene…
