NEW ORLEANS — In the wake of the Bourbon Street attack, New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick says she has no plans to give in to calls for her resignation from national media.
“I believe I am the right person for this time,” Superintendent Kirkpatrick Tuesday morning. “And the voices would like to discourage me by calling for me to resign, and I’m not going to do that.”
