Winter Storm Watches have gone up for North Central and Northeast Texas, much of Arkansas, Northern Louisiana, Northern Missisippi, and Western Tennessee for Thursday night into Friday night. Additional Winter Storm Watches will likely go up for areas to the east including the rest of Tennessee, Northern Alabama & Northern Georgia as well as the interior Carolinas.
This storm has the potential to bting 6 to 8 inches of snow in some areas of the Winter Storm Watch area. In addition we could see significant icing from freezing rain along the southern area of the Winter Storm Watch zone. This storm will impacting cities like Dallas, Fort Worth, Little Rock, Shreveport LA, Memphis Tennessee, and possibly Atlanta Georgia and Charlotte North Carolina among others.
