(FOX40.COM) — Hope filled the atmosphere at the swearing-in ceremony for Stockton’s newest elected officials Tuesday night.
Hundreds of people poured into the Bob Hope Theatre in Stockton to welcome their new mayor, Christina Fugazi, vice mayor, Jason Lee, and council members Mariela Ponce and Mario Enriquez.
“This isn’t something I ever aspired to do but because of the community we have- I’m at the frontlines at a high school in Stockton – I’m ready to do the work,” Fugazi told FOX40.com.
