Anyone else wake up the day of the snowstorm looking forward to playing in the snow only to find out you have the flu? Just me?
I have the car hood all ready to go sledding. The only issue is the four-foot snow drifts in the field up front that are impassable. We have seven across the driveway, which is over a quarter-mile long. I busted through those with the Tahoe but I am not going to try the field. I covered the chickens’ feeding area hoping to have some clear ground. I had no idea there would be a three-foot drift in the entire coop area.
So now I’m sitting here sick and staring at my fishing gear thinking about where I can get to some water. Yeah the flu is no fun. But the doc says if my fever goes up a couple notches, I get to hallucinate for a bonus. So I have that going for me…
