Apalachee High School closed after student brings gun to school months after mass shooting

BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — Classes are cancelled Thursday at Apalachee High School after a student was arrested for bringing a gun into school on Wednesday, according to police.

A 14-year-old student was arrested for bringing a gun to school just months after a mass shooting claimed the lives of two teachers and two students .

An Apalachee High School resource officer took the student into custody around 2 p.m., according to officials. The identity of the student was not released…
