SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – On Wednesday, we got a new look at what happened when Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi was arrested for drunk driving back in September. Western Mass News obtained bodycam footage of the incident.
In September, Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi was stopped and later arrested by officers at MGM Springfield.
While Cocchi later admitted to driving that night, what came before his admission was a complete ‘360,’ as footage shows him denying he was the one driving the vehicle. At first, claims of a friend were made, but that wasn’t the case…
