Daytona Beach, FL – A freeze warning is in effect for Coastal and Inland Volusia counties early Thursday morning as temperatures are expected to drop significantly. Residents are urged to take precautions to protect against potential frost damage and cold exposure.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Melbourne, the advisory begins at 3 a.m. EST, with the freeze warning active from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Temperatures could dip as low as 31 degrees in some areas, with wind chills ranging from 22 to 30 degrees. The warning also includes parts of Northern and Southern Lake County, impacting cities like Deltona, Mount Dora, and Leesburg.
