Wilson County is preparing for its 31st Annual MLK Jr. Prayer Breakfast which will be held on Monday January 20, 2025 at Darden Alumni Center in Wilson (1600 Lipscomb Rd. Wilson, NC). The breakfast will begin with an opening Invocation from Dr. Christ Thomas, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Wilson and a hearty good breakfast from Sylvia’s Catering. Prayers for the World, Community and Youth will be rendered by local ministers; Rev. Tyree Armstrong, Minister Percy Roberston and Elder Aaron Terrell Green. New Vester Ensemble will entertain the event with good the gift of song(s).
