BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) -The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports that as of December 30th, the bird flu has affected more than 200,000 birds in the state, resulting in egg shortages and inflation.
Local restaurants and bakeries are no strangers to price increases, but the rise of avian influenza (bird flu) only contributes to that problem, presenting the challenges of ‘egg-flation’.
