FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The search is underway for a missing woman in Fayetteville .
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, 25-year-old Heather Williams has been missing for nearly a week.
“Our family is deeply concerned about her safety,” Heather’s sister, Mary Williams, said. Our only wish is for her safe return home.

Mary said her sister was last seen on Saturday in the area of Berkshire Road in Fayetteville. According to Fayetteville police, she was last seen getting into a light-colored four-door sedan with a sunroof, wearing gray sweatpants and a dark-colored shirt.
“We don’t know who she got into a car with,” Mary said. “It’s scary because it was nighttime, and of course, I’m going to go to the worst possible scenario…
