United Way of Greater Nashua Calls for Laptop Donations to Support Local Community Members

NASHUA, NH – United Way of Greater Nashua is urgently seeking laptop donations from local companies and individuals to support its Laptop Distribution Program. This initiative provides free laptops or tablets to low-income individuals in need, empowering them to apply for jobs, work remotely, pursue education, access telehealth services, and connect with friends and family.

The program’s transformative impact is evident through the stories of its recipients. Recently, a member of the recovery community shared how a laptop from United Way ended a six-year period of unemployment. With her new device, she was able to apply for jobs and was ultimately offered a position, marking a significant step forward in her journey.

“This program is about more than just technology; it’s about providing a lifeline to those who need it most,” said Mike Apfelberg, President of United Way of Greater Nashua. “Access to a laptop can mean the difference between opportunity and stagnation.
