SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Keep your coat and gloves with you all day, temperatures will only warm up to the lower 40s at lunchtime with wind chills still in the mid 30s! Even with sunny skies throughout the day, highs will only be in the upper 40s.

Clouds increase overnight into our Friday morning. Most of us will remain dry during our morning commute, but a slight chance of precipitation is possible along and north of I-16 around sunrise. Due to cold air aloft, some wintry mix will be possible Friday morning into lunchtime, but no accumulations are expected. In other words, there is a small chance that a few northern communities could see some flurries or sleet, but major impacts are not expected as surface temperatures will be above freezing.
