Sacramento shelter takes in animals displaced by Los Angeles County wildfires

(FOX40.COM) — A team from the Sacramento SPCA headed to Southern California and back to help care for nearly three dozen animals displaced by the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles County .

The non-profit animal shelter said that two vehicles picked up 34 animals from Pasadena Humane, a shelter that has taken in many animals displaced by the Eaton Fire.

“After learning that Pasadena Humane was caring for hundreds of displaced animals while also preparing to potentially evacuate their shelter, we immediately reached out to offer our support”, said Sacramento SPCA CEO, Jennifer Brent. “…It was an easy decision to support our friends in Pasadena during this difficult time.”…
