The new year is starting as busy as 2024 ended for Southern Pines, with several projects scheduled for review — and possibly a decision — by the Town Council in the next few days.
Last year, multiple long-discussed and large-scale projects got underway, including the popular Target-anchored shopping complex off Morganton Road. Those 12 months followed a similar growth trend as the last few years, with residential, commercial and office sectors expanding across town.
