Worcester filmmaker and music producer Cyrus Alexander has done a lot in his career, from producing songs for artists across the country to organizing the Beats & Barbecue festival on the Worcester Common for several years, but there’s one item on his to-do list that he’s checking off this year after decades of dreaming.
“I’ve always wanted to do a martial arts film, in particular a Black martial arts film,” Alexander said.
Now that martial arts film, “Year of the Rat,” is complete, and it will premiere March 22 in New York City.
