LAKE FOREST, California — Lake Forest deputies had a busy night, recovering three stolen vehicles during their shift early yesterday morning. The operation began just after midnight on the 5 Freeway near El Toro Road, according to a press release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.Deputies first spotted a vehicle with a stolen license plate and pulled it over, discovering the car had been stolen about a month ago. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also found inside, marking the first arrest of the night. Later, while back on patrol, the same deputy noticed two vehicles following each other on the 5 Freeway near Lake Forest Drive.
