PENSACOLA, Fla. ( WKRG ) — As many attempt to abide by their New Year’s resolutions to make healthier food choices , an upcoming challenge event is making it easier to eat more vegetables.
The upcoming event is the Pensacola Vegan Chef Challenge, and it is set for February.
The event is a time for local chefs to compete for votes with plant-based menu options, but organizers said the challenge is also an opportunity for non-chefs to try vegan options.

“It’s easy to participate,” a news release said. “You have one month. Go to the Pensacola Vegan Chef Challenge website to see the list of participating restaurants and menu items. Sample the unique vegan dishes being offered by your favorite local restaurants. Vote for your favorites either at the restaurants or by February 28 on the Pensacola Vegan Chef Challenge website.”…
