Careless smoking is to blame for a two-alarm fire that ripped through several townhouses in Glasgow on Wednesday night.
The fire was reported just after 9:15 p.m. in the 100 bock of Versailles Court in the Frenchtown Woods townhouses, according to Lawrence Tan, a spokesman for Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company. Callers to 911 reported seeing flames coming from a neighbor’s house.
