Napa clears Kennedy Park homeless encampment, a bittersweet end to a decade-long chapter

For more than a decade, the homeless encampment at Napa’s Kennedy Park stood as a community within a community — a place where lives were lived, bonds were formed and struggles played out.

This week, it was cleared, marking the end of an era and the start of something new: the site will soon become part of the Napa Valley Vine Trail, a walking and biking path designed to connect Vallejo to Calistoga.
