VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Experts say it can be more difficult for a formerly incarcerated person to find a job.
“They often face what is legal and societal barriers that bar them from successfully integrating in communities,” said Dr. Tim Goler, the director for the Center of African American Public Policy.
Luckily for those who want to see a change, State Senator Aaron Rouse is attempting to prevent that barrier.
