Vestal, NY – Justin Hoyle and Ross McFarland each earned victories, but Hofstra fell at Binghamton, 31-6, in an EIWA match Thursday afternoon at the West Gym. The loss snapped Hofstra’s two-match win streak.
Hofstra moved to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the EIWA with the loss. Binghamton, which is ranked No. 11 in the NWCA Mid-Major Poll, is 4-5 overall and 2-0 in the EIWA.
After Binghamton won the first two matches of the day, Hoyle put Hofstra on the scoreboard with a 4-2 win over Nate Lucier at 141 pounds.
