LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist have proclaimed January 9th Law Enforcement appreciation day.
In a press release Whitmer said today is about celebrating the better than 18 thousand men and women in Michigan who put their lives on the line for us every day and thanking them for their service. She added that she will work with anyone to ensure that our members of law enforcement have the resources they need to protect our families.
