Internet retail giant Amazon is opening another facility in Kannapolis with plans for 100 new jobs at a site that will operate 24/7, the city announced on Thursday.
The 200,000-square-foot site will be a same-day delivery warehouse with the capacity to deliver items to customers within five hours of placing an order. It’s at the 85 Exchange Industrial Park near Amazon’s distribution center at the intersection of Kannapolis Parkway and N.C. 73.
