Roughly a dozen Bennington Street residents and Lawrence Police officers jumped into action Thursday to hoist a car off a woman trapped underneath.
Witnesses say a woman was just delivering flowers when a car rolled back slightly, trapping the woman under the wheel of the car.
“The lady had the legs under the wheel,” Lawrence resident Jenny Minaya said. “She was panicked and was like oh my god and called 911 and tell them hurry to get here.”…
