PARIS, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — The staff with the Paris City Schools are responding to the needs of families in the area, and bitter cold temps aren’t stopping the greyhounds from helping their community.
Staff collected a bunch of donated items like food, toilet paper, backpacks, and blankets as part of their winter home relief deliveries. Paris City Schools superintendent Stephen McCauley said this concept started as an idea, and the generous nature of his team led it to become a full-blown operation.

“We can take an idea that just came up literally yesterday morning, and within a couple of hours, I had 20 people on my team on a Zoom meeting to pull together and get it going. Today, we have this large production that’s already happening,” McCauley said…
