Volunteers canning more than 80,000 pounds of chicken in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. (WNDU) – More than 80,000 pounds of chicken is being canned in Goshen right now, and it’s all for a good cause!

Volunteers with the Mennonite Central Committee’s mobile meat canner are in Michiana to help fill, weigh, seal, wash and label cans upon cans of meat to help aid in hunger relief worldwide.

These cans of meat help provide vital nourishment and nutrition where meat is hard to buy…
