PALATKA, Florida — A Christmas Day shooting in Palatka has left two dead and one injured, with police uncovering new details about the incident. Dorrion McKinnon, a 17-year-old from Palatka, and Tyree Gilyard, a 23-year-old from Crescent City, both died from their injuries, according to the Palatka Police Department.The investigation revealed that McKinnon had a rifle at the time of the shooting, which was found next to him before he was taken to the hospital. A handgun was also discovered near Gilyard. Both firearms are undergoing forensic testing at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
