CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin started off Thursday’s city council meeting with her State of the City address. Goodwin announced the Hearts of our Neighborhoods initiative, which will help fund projects in communities while going door to door with other leaders.
“We get so focused on our big project, and those are important, surely they’re important, but what is important to our families or what’s happening on their street.”
