Man survives being shot in the face in Hanford, police investigating

HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man is recovering after being shot in the face early Wednesday morning while walking near Earl F. Johnson Park, according to the Hanford Police Department.

Officials say officers were dispatched to the park at 1600 N. Brown St., just before 3 a.m. after receiving a call from a man saying he had been shot in the face.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the right side of his face…
