Carnegie After Hours Game Night. 5 PM to 8 PM. Enjoy an evening of board games and Magic: The Gathering at the Carnegie Library! You can bring a board game or borrow one of ours to play – just make sure to arrive before we close the doors to the public at 6 PM! If you would like to play Magic: The Gathering, please bring your own cards. Intended for adults. No registration required. Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Culinary Class with JACC. Join the Ella Sharp Museum for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience inspired by Julia Child: A Recipe for Life. Watch the Jackson Area Career Center culinary students bring Julia’s iconic recipes to life with a live demonstration of Caesar salad, Chicken Fricassee, and decadent Chocolate Mousse—straight from Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Indulge in a three-course meal featuring these classic dishes! Doors open at 5pm to tour galleries, dinner will be served at 6 pm. Registration and event page here.

Grand River Winter Farmer’s Market. A year-round community-driven market prioritizing fresh local products and Michigan made goods.
