WINONA, Texas — Smith County firefighters are responding to a structure fire in Winona.
Nikki Simmons with Smith County Emergency Services District 2 confirmed crews are still working to douse a fire on County Road 343. She added that no injuries have been reported and that the fire had already done significant damage to the home by the time crews arrived.
Simmons said crews were dispatched at 5:18 p.m. Roadways are currently blocked near CR 343.
