JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KETK) – One person is dead after a three vehicle crash on Highway 79 between Cherokee and Anderson counties on Wednesday.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said an 18-wheeler heading southbound on Highway 79 crashed into a northbound 18-wheeler. An SUV following behind the 18-wheeler, reportedly hit a guard rail while attempting to dodge the crash.
Thomas Duane Duncan, 69 of Gladewater, the driver of the southbound 18-wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS said…
