The Palisades Fire continues to ravage Los Angeles County and Houstonians — some with family members in the area and others caught in the blaze themselves — are scrambling to salvage what they can and make arrangements for loved ones.
Nearly 14,000 emergency personnel were battling wildfires across California as of Thursday.
