Steve Sarkisian Reveals Something He Won’t Stop Doing Ahead of Texas-Ohio State

Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian is on the doorstep of a national title game berth as his team prepares for their College Football Playoff semifinal showdown against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday.

Coach Sarkisian has assumed play-calling duties for the UT offense since his arrival to Austin in 2021 and despite a few lapses this season, the results were extremely positive. Behind an offensive line that were finalists for the Joe Moore Award, the Longhorns were a top 25 unit in the country with 34.3 points per game (21st), 443.9 yards per game (17th), and 6.3 yards per play (24th).

Sark certainly has a lot on his plate, serving as the CEO of one of the highest profile jobs in the sport while architecting the offense at the same time. When asked about juggling these responsibilities on Thursday ahead of the Cotton Bowl, the Texas coach indicated that he has no desire to give up play-calling duties anytime soon…
