New Orleans council begins investigation into bollards and French Quarter security

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans City Council voted to begin its investigation into the design, procurement, and operation of bollards throughout the city, emphasizing the need for improved security in the French Quarter following the New Year’s Day attack.

The council plans to use full subpoena power and is prepared to take action against any individuals or entities found responsible for failures.
