NEW MILFORD — The clean energy provider FirstLight has started to draw down the water levels at Candlewood Lake, which includes Squantz Pond, as part of the 2024-25 drawdown season.
The drawdown, which started Tuesday, will be completed with the water levels returning to normal summer operating ranges before Memorial Day, according to Claire Belanger, FirstLight’s spokesperson.
