BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A person was arrested after police say a victim was stabbed in the chest in Bridgeport early Friday morning.
According to police, at around 1:43 a.m., officials received a call that a person had been stabbed in the chest. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim told police the incident occurred in the area of Ashley Street.

Officers located the suspect, where he was arrested, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, police said…
