Wintry precipitation to our north, rain moves in this evening

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Most of us will remain dry during our morning commute, but due to cold air above us, some wintry mix will be possible for a few inland communities north of I-16. Hampton and Screven County will be under a Winter Weather Advisory until Noon. We are not expecting impacts as road/soil temperatures will remain above freezing.

After our cold morning, temperatures continue to climb throughout the day with highs in the upper 40s this afternoon. Chilly showers build in Friday afternoon into our Friday evening with temperatures in the 40s.

A few communities north of I-16 could see a wintry mix this morning, but moisture will have to battle dry air. There’s a much better rain for all this evening! pic.twitter.com/5xshIRrPmA
