SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A donation was made Thursday morning by Parkers Kitchen to help support the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS).
The convenience store company and food service leader made a $100,000 Fueling the Community donation to SCCPSS with a special check presentation at the Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts in Savannah. Superintendent Dr. Denise Watts was on hand to accept the donation on behalf of local teachers and students.
Parker’s Fueling the Community charitable initiative donates a percentage of gas sold at all Parker’s and Parker’s Kitchen locations on the first Wednesday of each month to area schools.
