Stabbing incident lands Pottstown man in prison

NORRISTOWN — A Pottstown man who stabbed another man during an altercation inside a borough convenience store was sent to prison and will be under court supervision for up to a decade.

Jameel Khaleem Crum, 36, of the 100 block of Warren Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 3½ to 10 years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault in connection with the Oct. 1, 2023, incident.

Judge Wendy G. Rothstein, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, ordered Crum to have no contact with the victim and to stay away from the Eagle Convenience Store in the 300 block of Beech Street where the stabbing occurred…
