ST. LOUIS – Road crews on both sides of the river are out in force Friday morning battling the latest round of winter weather but it is a big challenge as the snow comes down.
MoDOT laid down salt on the roadways to prepare for the snow that moved in overnight. A MoDOT release says crews have been working 12-hour shifts since this past Saturday trying to clear roadways and those 12-hour shifts are continuing Friday morning.
MoDOT says as more snow moves in, its crews will clear major interstates first, then state-numbered and lettered routes, then shoulders.
