4 arrested for criminal mischief, reckless driving

MCALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) —Four men were arrested following an investigation into a report of damage to a private parking lot on Dec. 29, McAllen police say.

Gael Hernandez, a 19-year-old Alton resident, Ronald George Martinez Jr. an 18-year-old Hidalgo resident, and Jared Rodriguez, a 19-year-old Pharr resident, were charged with reckless driving, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department.

Authorities say additional arrests and charges may come of this.

On Dec. 29 authorities responded to the 4400 block of Wanda Avenue to a report of individuals damaging a private parking lot by the use of vehicles and fireworks.

On Jan. 2, Jason Bucio was arrested for his alleged involvement in damages to the private parking lot. He was charged with disorderly conduct by displaying a firearm.
