The Sacramento Police Department has announced the charging of 21-year-old Brandon McGrath of Sacramento for his alleged involvement in a string of armed robberies targeting taco stands in the city.
According to the Sacramento Police Department’s Facebook post, the series of robberies began on October 28, 2024, with the suspect violently striking a female employee with a handgun at Chando’s Tacos. The described assailant, McGrath, is accused again of using a handgun to intimidate and rob employees at two other taco stands on the following day. In all cases, the suspect managed to evade police arriving on the scenes of the crimes.
